  • Yes. If finances are a concern, please reach out and we can explore options to make therapy more accessible.

  • Insurance benefits can be confusing to navigate. When we connect, I will provide an estimate of your session cost based on the information you share.

  • Payment is typically collected through the secure client portal. Additional details will be provided prior to your first session.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee.

What to Expect

  • Before your first session, you will receive access to a secure online portal where you will complete intake forms. All forms must be completed and signed prior to meeting for your first appointment.

  • The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will review important boundaries and expectations, explore your history and current concerns, and begin identifying goals for therapy.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Over time, we may transition to biweekly or monthly sessions depending on your needs and goals. This is always a collaborative decision.

  • The length of therapy varies for each person. I specialize in long-term, relational therapy for individuals seeking ongoing growth and support, while also offering short-term therapy when appropriate.

  • Yes. Therapy is confidential, with limited exceptions required by law. These boundaries will be reviewed during your first session.

Therapy Session Details

  • Sessions typically begin with a check-in about how you’ve been feeling and what feels most important to focus on. Some sessions involve processing emotions or experiences, while others focus on insight, reflection, or practical support aligned with your therapy goals.

  • This is very common. Some clients come in ready to share, while others need time or gentle prompting. You never need to have everything figured out. I am, quite literally, a professional question asker.

  • Starting therapy can feel vulnerable or uncomfortable. We move at your pace, and there is no pressure to share more than you are ready for. Building trust takes time, and that’s part of the process.

  • If you’re reading this, you may already be sensing a need for support or change. There is no “perfect” time to start therapy. Any time you feel ready to explore yourself with curiosity and care is enough.
