dr. victoria williams, dsw, lcsw
I’m Victoria. Professional listener, part-time overthinker, and full-time authentic human.
My goal isn't to "fix" you, it's to know you. To welcome every part of you - the parts you like, don't like, and want to change. To see you through a lens of curiosity, rather than judgement. And to focus on who you are, rather than who you are not.
Growing up in a world where mental health wasn’t openly talked about, I saw firsthand the impact it could have - not just on individuals, but on relationships, opportunities, and overall quality of life. From my experiences, a deep curiosity about human behavior and a desire to support the human capacity for growth, sprouted. This became the foundation to my professional mental health journey. My personal history gives me a level of empathy and insight that I incorporate into every session, as I create a space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences without shame.
GET TO KNOW ME:
I don’t expect you to feel comfortable spilling your life to a complete stranger, so here’s some things about me!
MILITARY SPOUSE
My husband and I have been married for 5 years. He (along with being an “army brat”) is a significant part of the reason why I am passionate about working with the military population and their families.
ADVENTURE SEEKER
I love all things adventure. I have been skydiving a couple of times, enjoy traveling, and love hiking (even though it’s not nearly as easy as it was when I was 21).
DOG ENTHUSIAST
I have 3 pups - a great dane/great pyrenees mix, a black lab, and a pitbull. I also own a small bandana business called Bellie Wags & Co. I created this business in memory of my childhood dog that passed - she was my “soul dog”.
